Starknet - Computer Tutoring Services is currently offering a 9-week course from: (July 9-Sept. 7, 2007), covering basic to intermediate classes in which your child will learn:

1.)     Microsoft Office 2003:

a.)    Creating stellar Word documents

b.)   Learning how to use formulas and graphs in Excel

c.)    Creating a dazzling PowerPoint presentation

 

2.)     Computer Terminology:

a.)    3rd-4th grade students will extend their computer vocabulary and knowledge of external, internal components, and learn keyboarding skills with Sunburst, Type to Learn programs which provide complete instruction on keyboarding skills!

b.)   5th -6th grade students will learn how data is stored on a computer, introduction to binary code and digital information.

c.)    7th -8th Grade students will work form the (Mike Meyers’ A Certification Passport 3rd Addition, paper back book.)"Mastering the craft of the PC technician requires that you learn the intricate details of numerous individual parts, connections, and settings..."Michael Meyers.

These topics and more are now part of a specialized in-home summer tutoring program available for your child in a new individualized private 2-hour class which will greatly improve your child’s skills and technical know-how.
